Paris-based Journalist Seth Sherwood explored the holiday country Slovenia for the New York Times - and discovered his “star” among the Slovenian wines he tasted:  the Dveri-Pax Sipon!

“The Star was a smooth. dry white wine made from the local grape called Sipon.”  ....Seth Sherwood reported in his article his impressions of Slovenia as a holiday country.  This took him from the Western coastal region to the North East beyond Maribor - travelling only on foot or by bus and rail.  It is noteworthy that he was particularly impressed by the Maribor region and underlined it as a wine-growing region.  Did he like the taste of our wines?
