The old year has said goodbye and the New Year has opened its door. For this occasion the Dveri–Pax company organized an event to say goodbye to the old year in the company of representatives of the local community, business partners and numerous friends.

At our wine cellar at Jarenina we surrendered to the pleasure of culture, excellent music and the rich taste of our superior wines in the 200–year–old castle.
The invited guests enjoyed the performance of the exceptional Peter Ternovšek, the winner of the Borštnik Award for the 2007 season, who delighted the audience with his monocomedy Pavlek. Alenka Godec stirred up emotions that cold winter evening with excellent arrangements of Slovenian evergreen songs. The evening was hosted by the excellent Anja K. Tomažin.

The 800-year-old Benedictine tradition, combined with respect for nature while following wine production trends and, above all, the dedication and love of all our employees, brought forth excellent results this year. The new wine is exceptional and the guests had the opportunity to try ten select wines with excellent dishes - wines that won awards at the most prestigious wine competitions such as Decanter in London, Wine for Asia and many others.

"Happiness can be found in small things. It can be found in songs, the warm grip of hands and clinking of glasses filled with select wines, drunk in a circle of friends."  These words were spoken at the end of the evening by the company director, oenologist Danilo Flakus, as he wished everyone lots of happiness in the New Year.
