Decanter World Wine Awards 2009
The Dveri-Pax wine cellar captures new awards to retain its position among the world's top wine producers
The official results of the Decanter World Wine international wine assessment announced in London in the last few days delighted us. The number of countries participating makes this the largest such competition in the world - this year 10,285 samples were presented for evaluation and among the award winners were nine wines from our cellar.The 2008 Sauvignon, 2007 Sauvignon - Vajgen, 2008 Riesling and 2007 Riesling “M” wines from the Dveri-Pax wine cellar all won silver, and the 2008 Janez, 2008 Furmint, 2007 Chardonnay - Vajgen, and the 2006 Furmint - Welschriesling “Trockenbeerenauslese” wines received bronze. We are also very proud of our 2007 Pinot Noir that received a commendation.
